MAUSHAUS is a unique underground techno festival in Brno, Czechia. The third edition takes place on 13 and 14 October 2023 in Fléda & Fraktal venues. Live/DJ shows will be held on three stages for two days. Complete lineup:
Ancient Methods
Bringing formerly dissociated musical subcultures closer to each other has been the key to the artwork of Michael Wollenhaupt, aka Ancient Methods. German electronic producer, performer, DJ, and label runner drags his influences, such as wave and industrial but also classical, psychedelic and folk music, into the techno frame to drop them on the dance floors. He delivers an intimate, rather introverted euphoria within a raw industrial framework.
Dasha Rush
One of a kind for contemporary techno. Dasha is a performer, composer, sound artist, and DJ. Born in Moscow but settled in Berlin. In her creative galaxy, the machines are the protagonists of a neo-romanticism, weaved with human dreams. Dasha runs her own imprint Fullpanda and a more experimental sub-label, Hunger to Create. Still, she releases on labels like Sonic Groove or Raster Noton.
Stanislav Tolkachev (live)
Ukraine techno treasure, a composer of experimental soundscapes structured by hypnotic beats. Stanislav Tolkachev is undoubtedly one of the most influential producers of the past decade. With releases on labels such as Mord and Semantica, Tolkachev’s mastery of modular synths and drum machines will leave you spellbound.
UVB
French deli par excellence. Sébastian Michel, aka UVB, has produced music for a decade. Once moved to Berlin, he found a creative underground network to develop a unique techno signature. Drawing inspiration from both soulful melodic tones and the harsher side of electronics, UVB also runs his own label Body Theory. Looking forward to his physically raw DJ lecture.
The festival establishes a valuable platform for all techno lovers combining the world’s leading figures with local artists. It covers a wide range of the contemporary global techno underground scene.
